In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

Brody W One of the best sci-fi movies I’ve watched in years. Edge of the seat stuff with Chris playing the lead excellently. A very interesting concept with amazingly interesting aliens! Great comic relief, great action and a great storyline from start to finish. Although, the reason for the nightmares was not the aliens but exclusively what they did to my loved ones in said nightmares. Still a fun movie, nonetheless. Eu gostei, o CGI é ótimo (a cena do estádio não) porém, tem coisas que são particularidades minha. Por exemplo, o personagem principal (Dan) me cansa, eu tenho preguiça desses personagens heróicos e o enredo dele é cansativo. O final com a reconciliação dele com o pai, achei muito clichê. Outra coisa, o filme ainda tem aquela essência de o mundo gira em torno da "América". Acho chato isso, porém, é uma coisa minha.
